I assume, if you're pulling the hood by yourself, the only logical place to pick it up is through the scoop opening. Do most of you find that this causes the center of the hood to deflect and ends up causing the cracks? Just curious.




my hood was very broken and cracked when i got it. i added a little extra fiberglass in that area when i painted it.





yes this is common. It's cause from the air being sucked in as well as lifting the hood off from the top of the scoop. i always lift from the bottom of the scoop. I too reinforced the brace.
