I would tend to agree with what he said.. my first windshield was the anti scratch stuff and it got the same scratches that my other(standard stuff) got in about the same time frame... thats basically from trying to keep it clean and changing dial ins from the shoe polish stuff(I use the stuff called "dial in") EDIT Also I learned to flood it with water before you rub on it... that removes a lot of the sand and dust crap before you grind it in... I also tried in the past to clean the scratched using anti static polish.. it works but it wasnt worth my time
