Larry, I think as soon as I hit the clutch pedal the car drops fast then comes up again on 2nd, but in all honesty I remember almost nothing of what happens. And yes, shift with the clutch

Mr. P, ladder bars and it looks like some more preload is coming. I have 70lbs more on the rr (or at least I did last I checked)

I like the AMX too, thought it was funny 1st time I saw that. Its appropriate, lots of old iron racing (my fav days at the track)

I really tried to slow the car down and wasn't legal to dial less than 10. The pass before that I had a 10.03 knocking about 15 mph off. I had plenty of time to slow down. So, went back to the pits, loosened the throttle cable so the secondaries opened about half way then drove the same. Picked up in the 60' and 1/8th. Go figure
