A while back, 1980's perhaps, there was a blunt nosed Oldsmobile body used in Pro Stock that was actually more aerodynamic than the sleeker looking Camaros and Firebirds!

Visually aerodynamic, I believe was the term Warren Johnson used to describe the Firebirds.



Back then was when we(Chrysler) had to come up with
a different body to compete against the long nose
of the GM stuff... they shortened the track by 3'
