Bluetooth is a type of short range wireless communication. If you've ever seen someone talking in what sounds like a telephone conversation and has a small device hanging on his/her ear - that's Bluetooth. He/she is talking and listening to their cell phone via the ear thing.

A lot of radio manufacturers are beginning to include Bluetooth comm circuits in their radios to interact with a driver's cellphone as a hand's free device. It's cool, but still annoying
