looking to put some calls in to the resident moparts cam doctors. I have a 5.9 Magnum motor, bone stock bottom end (around 9.0 compression with stock heads and stock head gasket) I'm putting some aluminum eddy heads on it that flow around 230-240 as cast. with 1008 head gaskets, I should be around 9.2 compression. I don't want to mill the heads now incase I end up building a 408 later and want a little more chamber volume to keep compression reasonable.

stick shift viper spec T-56 trans with a .5:1 OD 6th gear. rear axle is 4.56 gears and tires are 27" tall.

Trying to find a cam that gives me great power till around 6,000 rpm, makes the most of the flow available from the heads, yet still gives good street manners at around 2,000 rpm for my part throttle cruise.

anyone here have any ideas? Who would be good to call to discuss cam specs?
