I am not sure what gears are in this car. It is the stock drive train behind the poly. I would guess that it's in the 350'ish range for gears. I plan on freshening up the converter, and the trans while I swap out the poly. I may lean toward a solid cam also. It will get a dual plane intake, with a 650 edel. carb, maybe headers. It has cast flat top pistons, [not sure what brand, came with the used block]. So I guess when I get the short block together, I can then figure out what compression it will be at, and then get the appropriate cam, springs, head gaskets, etc. Thanks for your input, keep it coming.
