My 340 idled in Vegas this past July for over a hour in 110 degree temps. My car could idle all day long in those temps and not overheat.

The cooling system is stock with a 26" radiator and a 7 blade clutch fan. The motor is not stock and tuned correctly, it has edlebrock heads, Victor jr 340 intake and a 474" MP cam. Oh yea it has AC too which was running the whole time in Vegas. There's no heat risers in edlebrock heads, just so you know.

I have driven the car in Reno, Bonneville, Pikes peak all on 90+ degree days and it has never overheated. Stock is where it's at when it comes to mopar cooling, there's nothing better IMO.

I just got done running 100+ mph into Bonneville on this 95 degree day, my AC is on now in this video. It stays on all summer.
And my car is black!
