The number in the second picture was cast into the core, has nothing to do with who ground the cam. Camshaft cores are produced in large quantities by only a couple of companies. They are cast and hardened and delivered to the grinder as blanks.

Several years ago, Crane Cams bought about all the cam grinding capacity in the US, so unless the cam grinder has its own facilities the cam was probably ground in a Crane plant. I don't know what happened in the bankruptcy a few years ago, it's possible that part of the company got sold.
