good question, I'm guess the 90/10 would allow the front end to extend quickly for weight transfer and the rear 70/30 would allow the rear to "squat" faster???

instructions indicate..
Front regular 90/10, Firm 80/20, Xtra firm 60/40
Rear regular is 70/30, Firm 50/50 and X-firm 40/60

On those type of shocks the first number is the
extension rate and the second is compression... I'm
not a fan of the CE... way to broad on the adjustment..
if I want to change the extension I dont want to change
the compression... but on those you are stuck with
changing both.. on any car that launches you want
to control the extension rate... down track you want
to control the compression
