To go straight up use the keyway with the inner zero on it & that sets the tooth position of the outer zero (the dot). I would suggest degreeing it with all the crappy tolerances in parts these days & if advancing/retarding iirc the square is advanced & the triangle is retarded but not sure if they are all 4 deg or if some sets are 2 deg. As you know adv/ret will change VP clearance. OT someone asked about this the other day on a jumped timing chain thread, on a SB 1 whole tooth off is gonna change phasing 15.6 deg
