All the small blocks had the hollow bolt.. doesnt
mean you have to have it but with the chain it does
drip oil on it to lube it better




not all SB came with the oil thru bolt,it was replaced with the metal drip tab that goes on the lower bolt and hooks in the unused lower hole in thrust plate.
