I am wondering if '77 Dodge m880 leaf springs are physically the same dimensions as my '78 half ton springs. My 1/2 ton leaf springs do not cut it for any sort of weight in the bed so I figured I would swap on some more heavy duty springs. I went to the wrecking yard and found a '77 m880 with a full suspension on it. I am taking the leaf springs, blocks and u bolts and leaf spring eyelet bolts. I just was double checking to make sure they are physically the same dimensions and will work on my truck? I know that the u bolts/ blocks may be different heights which is why i got them. Eventually I will get the 3/4 ton dana axles but for now I will be just replacing the springs. Any thoughts?
