That's what I saw also. But if you go to the SMP-site and search for VC-188 it clearly shows "9L". So with what I learned from this thread they (SMP) seem to show a generic picture that might not be exactly the part you are buying! So their catalog is of no help unless you need a replacement for an original Chrysler part and not the MP dist.
