rick@laysons mopar R Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 480 Lakewood, WA	Got this tip from Auto Restorer magazine about 13-14 years ago and it works wonders.... Wash the piece thoroughly with warm water and an SOS pad. Then take the good old fashioned Vaseline petroleum jelly and massage it into the rubber. Vaseline and weatherstriping rubber are completely compatible and the Vaseline will soften and keep the rubber "live".
