I was swapping out oil pickups and pans on my 440 for my 84 shortbed. in the passenger car oil pickup were 2 rod nuts!!!
All the rod nuts were on the rods, as I removed the tube , something rattled. when I got the tube off, I shook it and these fell out!
I guess they have been there since new. The engine had never been apart, always owned by the same family since new
