Yes, the front and rear glass had not been installed at the time of the headliner work but the side glass was in. Since I started with a painted shell, it made more sense to me to do the headliner early in the interior process so I would not need to remove other items like the pillar moldings, upper panels, package tray, etc. again and have to reinstall. Basically just starting at the top and working my way down. I even held off on installing the dash until the headliner was in, just trying to give the installation guy more room to move around in the car and also less chance of accidental damage.

Thats the way I did mine. Good choice on getting a pro for installing the nos fabric..... Mine looks "good" and it was my first time. I was quoted 75 bucks for a guy to come out and do mine. After 3 nights work and a "good" result. I wish I would have ponied up for the 75,
