I have had cylinders that looked like that and just used a ball hone to break the glaze. I would be more worried about the rings on that piston. When I pulled the piston out of mine the rings were stuck where the water was. I used a small screw driver to pop the rings out, removed them , cleaned the grove and the rings up and reinstalled. { Did I say I was cheap } Didn't have any problem with the engine.


it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead
