Well I had one guy in my ear making it sound as if the pump goes out regularly, and we all know it only fails when the tank's full. So I was thinking screw that the first time is the last time.

I talked to a local guy who has sold cars since back when the trucks were new and all the way back to his grandfather and dad had a small town Dodge dealership. He said that's crazy, they rarely go out.

Still, I'm trying to limit my search to carbureted trucks, because that's what I know and I'm a tinkerer.
