Big motors need big heads, big cam,big headers and high volume fuel system If you want to use the intake and carb, they will work fine once the carb. is tune properly, then buy a set of heds that will flow the most air for the 440 port size, ported Eddy RPM, ported Stealth, ported EZ or ported B1-BS I wouuld put a two inch spacer under the carb. to increase the plenum volume.I would buy a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers, especailly for the street As far as a shelf cam I would use the Comp Cams XE295HL with 1.6 rocker ratio, I have a motor with those parts in it and they work real well, especially the idle I put it in at 3 degrees advance. On headers a set of two inch should work well, a two step of 2 to 2 1/8 inch will be worth a little more power but not a bunch Three or three and half exhaust sytem with a really good set of muffs and you will need some really good rear tires
