Many "G"s have been mistaken for "C"s in/on Mopar VIN#s & engine/trans stammpings.

GG's numbers:
383 2bbl "G" (21,455 built - US spec.) & 383 4bbl "H" (19,013 built - US spec.) 1968 Chargers are common, but 4-spd versions are rare & 3-spd versions do NOT exist.

WAG - VIN# messed up by a visual inspection by some government agency's inspection & former 383 2bbl auto Charger modified/hot-rodded over the years to install 4-speed manual transmission.

4-speed cars have a "REVERSE" light on the dash after January '68, is there one? What's the first 3 digits of the VIN sequence (if you don't want to list the full vin)?
