It's a long story about the car. The car is a real 1967 Dodge Coronet RT 440hp, 727, 8 3/4. When I got the car it had a 1976 hp ( externally balanced )with an internally balanced torque converter and with the original 727 I believe. Well to say the least the car was kinda messed up drivetrain wise ! Most of the bellhousing bolts lose or not there, no brakes, u-joints shot, whinning noise in the rearend, etc. All stuff he told me or I found out.

The guy was was street racing the car and drove it into the ground. Blown up the original 440hp, rebuilt it then decided it was too powerful for him and sold it to a guy who put in into a Dodge Colt ! Thus I can't find the original motor !

So to make a long story short I got a '71 440 steel crank and did a rebuild to give me a roughly a 400 horse motor. Thus I need a new torque converted cuz the old one's tranny fluid was jelloish !

I was originally looking at a B&M 2400 Holeshot. Then I decided to go with a Turbo Action 11" 2500-3000 because I gave Jegs the specs on the motor, rearend, weight, tires and rims size, etc. They said that it was the converter for the car. They claim that Turbo Action are good matches for Mopars !

I'm thinking of running 3.55's or 3.23's in the car.
