So I've been driving my truck for 10 years now without any problems. A month ago, a guy pulls up beside me to tell me I have no brake lights. I check the fuse and its blown. I replace the fuse and its good to go. I check the brake lights several days in a row with no problems. Yesterday my neighbor follows me to my driveway to tell me I have no brake lights.

Why would I start blowing fuses all of a sudden?

Could a socket be bad? If it was a short - wouldn't it blow instantly when I apply the brakes?

Thanks in advance for your ideas and shared experiences.
