superwrench OP master Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 2,537 PORT ALBERNI , BC., CANADA	What is the correct procedure to remove the steering column in a '54 Dodge 1/2 ton?? Does the box AND column all come out the bottom in one piece?? Or can the column and shaft be separated at the top of the box where the clamp is?? I need to do this to lift the cab off to do the floor pans.
