Don't you hate it when something like this happens?

I pulled the turn signal arm out of the steering column of my 1970 Satellite to replace the turn signal switch assembly. With help from forum members, I have replaced the assembly. I'm all happy about that, but have hit ANOTHER roadblock.

Now, I am trying to remember HOW the turn signal arm re-attaches, because the bolt that holds it in is getting in the way of everything. I see how the wedge on the arm fits into the detente in the switch, but for the life of me, cannot figure out how to bolt the arm in without the bolt-head making it impossible.

I cannot believe that I didn't take a picture first, but it never crossed my mind that I wouldn't be able to get it back in.

Can someone help me out here? Has anyone done this recently, and remembers how it goes back together?

Thanks!
