Console is an extra cost option , you'd have to order it , pay for it , then delete it ... just like a RADIO ....

Now that made no sense what so ever.....
NONE!
Poorly worded or intentional?

What is it that you don't understand? It is a bone of contention with many members to refer to things in a proper way.

You can only "delete" something that comes as standard equipment such as a heater. Which back in the day when it was standard and could be deleted you received a credit on the window sticker for not receiving it.

People have been referring to the blank plate on cars without radios as a radio delete plate for years but the correct term is radio block off plate as the radio could not be deleted as it was an extra cost item.

The console was always optional (except on 66/67 Chargers) so you could never delete something that was an option, but you could ORDER it as an option. What is so hard to understand about this?

In other words you can not delete something that is not there in the first place. If you ordered an option why would you then want to delete it? You just don't order it in the first place.
