I am having an issue with my car niot wanting to turn over when I key the ignition. It acts like a car with too much timing. You can hear the starter soilenoid engage but the motor will not crank. I bounce the key back and forth you hear the starter hit two or three times, then the motor spins freely and fires.

I have replaced the battery, battery cables, starter, and starter relay (firewall). What is the best way to test and issolate the issue? The only thing I havnt replaced is the ignition switch.

The battery is trunk mounted, the timing is 12btdc, and the compression is 10.3. I am runinng 0 gauge wire for the battery directly the starter, and 0 gauge to the frame rail for ground. The starter is a RobbMc gear reduction starter.

Thanks for any help! I am going stir crazy with this issue.
