I have a few questions regarding a 904 in my 71 340 roadrunner. my car originally had a 727, but for a few factors, Im running a 904 instead. im pretty sure the tail shaft lengths are different between 727 and 904. would I be able to use my original drive shaft? or does it have to be lengthened? also, the tranny I got came out of a A body, IIRC, it doesn't matter like it does for 4 speeds as far as overall length goes? thanks
