Okay I guess I’m going to stir the pot here a little. If you are foot brake racing use the foot brake period! Trans brakes and two steps don’ belong there!

If you want to control the launch rpm look at your tack when you bring the rpm up. Some tacks even have a feature that will flash the shift light to assist with launch rpm.




Up here in this division the trans brake is allowed
so why not use it... I do... that way if I want I
can enter box and no box by just putting the box in
which takes just a few seconds(but I learned that
its hard to go from top light to bottom light round
after round)





Hey Mike, I overcame that problem by leaving off the bottom bulb in any class. I know I probably give up something there but I'm used to doing it that way.
