The HVC 2 I referred to was number 8253(the big blue U-core design).
It was designed for the MSD 6 ignitions,but requires different mounting locations or a custom bracket.
The only real advantage to it I see is possibly better high rpm spark. The engine I was dynoing with was past it's peak before 7000 rpm so it might help above that,hard to say without testing the right engine.
