Melted cable. BB w/ Hedman Hedders, B&M Pro Ratchet. Tube is very, very close to cable bracket on pan. Will one of the slip-on sleeves protect it if it slips again and comes into direct contact for a while? Would a longer cable (6-8-10 ) help with routing?
I know the best thing to do would be to bite the bullet and buy a different shifter that shifts from the back but trying to work with what we have.
