I am not big on fancy wiring for my race cars. No relays other than fuel pump. No circut breakers. Just heavy wire , high amperage switches, fuses.
But this unit atracted me due to the simplification of wiring mutiples off the same leads.

The DB2011 is a one of a kind wiring solution for your modern day race car. This board is focused toward the majority of you low power data wiring. It allows you to have a common wiring center for your high tech electronics like your ignition box(MSD), data loggers, EFI, boost controllers, nitrous accessories, inputs and some outputs. Input and output descriptions are below.

Power Inputs:

Batt+ needs to connect to the positive post on battery with a 10 gauge wire.

Batt- needs to connect to a good ground source. An 18 gauge wire will be good as there is no high current pulled through ground.

Ign needs to connect to your ignition switch with a 14-16 gauge wire.

Inputs:

Ret 1-3> are retard inputs that jump to the retards on the ignition section

T-brake Button> connects to your main transbrake button. It gets routed to all the spots on the borad that need a transbrake signal. It is also outputted at the OUTPUTS section through a relay and fuse to go out to you transbrake solenoid.

Brake Switch> connects to your brake pedal switch. Its outputted at the OUTPUTS to be connected to your brake lights. It also goes to the jumper on the board that allows you to use the brake signal to activate the 3step/burnout limiter at the IGNITION section. This is commonly used for a spool revlimit for turbo cars.

LL Button> connects to your line lock button. It gets outputted through a fuse at the OUTPUTS section. It also goes to the jumper on the board that allows you to use the line lock signal to activate the 3step/burnout limiter at the IGNITION section.

12Volt Out> it a fused 12 volt source that can be used to power your transbrake, linelock, and brake buttons or switches.

Logger Activation, EFI Log, Aux Activation> are inputs that get directed to the LOGGER, EFI, AUX sections to be used for switches.

Ignition:

Ign> fused switched ignition power to ignition box

trig> points trigger output to ignition box. Feed from EFI trigger out.(this is optional only if you want your EFI to trigger your ignition box.

Tach> igition tachometer output. This gets routed to various tach outputs on this board.

Shift > ground activated input that turns on the shift relay and applies power to the Shift Output terminal.

Switch> ground activated input that turns on the switch relay that applies power the the switch output terminal.

3Step> also know as the burnout rev limit input to the ignition box.

T/B> also known as the launch rev limit. Connects to transbrake. This gets its feed from the T-button input from the INPUTS section.

Ret 1-3> retard stage inputs feed from the INPUTS section.

Outputs:

LL> fused Line lock output connected to line lock solenoid.

Tach signal> tachometer signal to be used for guage and such.

Guage power> fused igntion power to feed guages or accessories.

Guage ground> ground for guages or accessories.

T-brake> fused main transbrake signal to be connected to transbrake solenoid.

Shift> fused main shift signal to be connected to shift solenoid.

Switch> fused main switch signal to be connected to auxiliary device.

Brake light> to brake lights

Logger:

ign> fused ignition power

grd> ground

activation> input feed from Logger activation from INPUTS section.

Tach> tach signal

T-brake> transbrake/launch signal

Shift> shift signal

switch> switch signal

EFI:

ign> fused ignition power.

Grd> ground

tach trigger> tach signal from ignition

trigger out> ignition trigger from EFI to Ignition box.

Log> signal for EFI datalogger feed from INPUTS section.

T-brake> transbrake/launch signal.

AUX:used for things like boost controllers, nitrous, ect..

Ign> fused ignition power.

Grd> ground

T-brake> transbrake/launch signal.

Activation> signal feed from aux activation in the INPUTS section.

The 3 jumper terminals in the Inputs section below fuses:

LL> jump this terminal to the 3-step terminal if you want the 3-step rev limter to activate off the linelock. (commonly used for burnout limiter).

Brake> jump this terminal to the 3-step terminal if you want the 3-step rev limter to activate off the brake signal. (commonly used for pre spool on turbo cars).
