Always heard the opposite,that Aluminum manifolds were the stock in short supply, and that was the reason Chrysler tooled up in iron, and whatever Aluminum Edelbrock supplied was either used up in production, or went to service (NOS)


....in 1970 Edelbrock was also burdened with suppling over 5000 340 T/A manifolds to Chrysler
