Wafflebatter and I have been racing together for better than a decade. We have each had two different cars and have been close in ET with both for years each faster than the other at points.

Well this year for various reasons both of us are stepping things up a bit.

The stats:

Wafflebatter-
27 Aero T Roadster..421 SBC.. 14-1..227 AFR's CNC ported...AED 1000cfm... .680 roller cam...Jesel 1.6's..UCC 5800 converter...glide...4.56's...approx race weight 1800#

Previous best... 1/8th- 5.52@123...with me driving..cough...cough 1/4-?...maybe Doug will chime in. Best 60ft. 1.18.

The Arrow-

499 lowdeck...12.5-1..CNC ported SR's...650 Comp...Harland Sharp 1.5's...850 Ray Murray...UCC 5400 converter...glide...4.56's...approx race weight 2275#

Previous best... 1/8th 5.65@121 1/4 9.04@149..this was at two different tracks. Best 60ft 1.23.

So...one of my winter changes is going to 4 wheel disc from MustangII and Dana drum..I feel this will free up both weight and major rolling resistance.

So any guesses?....I'm thinking if I to alcohol and maybe a roller cam I might stand a chance. I figure he will be close to a 5.20 1/8th mile ride with the weight loss going from his iron heads to the AFR's...and the bigger roller. I'm gaining better than a point of compression and ported heads. Also the brake change.....Watchcha guys think?...I think I might see 5.40's.

If you decide on going to alcohol you may want to crank that compression up some to take advantage of running it. Crank it up to 15-1 and she'll love it. Who's cnc program are you going with and what are your before and after numbers. I have a nice 690 lift roller sitting here that you are welcome to try if you want to. Are you going with the Indy intake?
