It's also been said that ford smallblock 1.6 rockers are a direct drop-on. This brings the question has anyone ever tried sing the Ford Motorsports 1.7 rockers? Probably need grinding on the heads for p/r clearance.

I know a lot of the Dakota guys will step up to a 1.7 roller rocker on their factory 5.9L magnum engine, as a "cheap" way to get a bigger cam, without the hassle of an actual cam swap. --Remember stock ratio on the Magnum heads are 1.6. most of them are using Harland Sharps, but I don't know if they are sold as a ford part, mopar part, or if HS lists them under each brand with a different catalog number, but secretly use the same part for both.
but for those guys, the 1.7s are basically a bolt on deal that takes the morning to knock out, letting you go cruising after lunch.
