I called Mike at TTI today to see if they could modify there straight 68-70 B-body tailpipes by bending a turn-down at the end. He said no.

Then I got on the phone with Tom at Accurate. Super-nice folks. It was recommended to get with TTI and buy the adapter for their headers transitioning to a stock 2-1/2" exhaust system. I can then go with Accurate's H-pipe exhaust from there.

Accurate won me over with the use of thicker aluminized steel and the molded-in turn down tailpipe option.

My only other decision is the diameter of the tailpipes. 2-1/4" or 2-1/2". My engine is a 440 quench motor, 3.9" offset-ground factory crank, 6.89" Manley I-beams, E-heads, Diamond flat-tops, Engle K60/62 cam, 727 auto, 3.55 rear, and I'm after low-end torque. Tom suggested 2-1/4".

The engine is in the crate, no bench-dyno numbers yet, with no converter selected, and I have no idea what carb to use. I do have a new Weiand 7500 intake. It'll be a street-driven car.
