The double tube also limits a lot of great oil pan options. If you are running an otherwise stock street car with just a K-member change the extra cross tube may make you feel better. This may be give some advantage for a road course car. The frame rails are trying to be twisted from the coil over shock mounts in these coilover rack steering conversions. When mopar designed the front the weight of the car was on the torsion bar crossmember and we know how strong a materail that is. For any of these aftermarket suspensions to work the car really needs the forward bars from firewall or cage to front frame. Just my opinion.
