I did think that was a pretty hefty cam for a street car. Guess it depends on the definition of a street car...



that cam is not heafty for a 580 cubic inch motor. it idles at 900 rpm,s. it can be lugged in traffic, stop and go and in 100 degree heat without any problems. the only thing that sucks is, $ 8.00 gal race gas, and changing valve springs every year. other than those two things, it,s an awesome street car....




I wasn't knocking it, just a bigger number than you normally associate with a street cam. That large a motor, sure probably does a great job. Have fun with it.
