What proof is there that the entire VIN on the title is LEGIT when the only numbers stamped on the body are the last 8 , was it a slant 6 or a hemi ...




I would assume the title verifies the engine used...and the title numbers(last 8) match the body. You can't expect to get a VIN tag if the numbers don't jive. I don't see a problem....




But it won't tell you what model it is, depending on the engine installed anyway. Take for instance the pilot 71 'cuda convertible that was in the mags a few years ago out of canada , it was a 383 2bbl Barracuda that magically turned into a 383-4bbl 'cuda.
