The IVR should have a sort of mini harness the attaches to the temp gauge then it jumps to the the fuel gauge & finally the the oil gauge... Thats the one you need to unplug & you'll actually unplug it from just the fuel gauge.... All three wires at the IVR must be plugged in... I believe the jumper harness is black but I know there will be the fuel sender lead going to the fuel gauge, it is blue.. Leave it connected to the fuel gauge & unplug the second lead to the gauge... Plug in the blue wire from the low fuel relay....
