Why can't you? Unless you are trying to be deliberate, gravity and paint will flow the same today as it did forty years ago. Magic robots didn't apply those markings at the factory. People did. It was an inspection mark to indicate that someone checked a particular function or service to a part. Apply it like they did and it will look original again.
