The battery is good, the guy from the dealer only plugged in the box he brought out to a port (inside the cab I think) and the truck fired up without a jump.

I'll call the dealer and get the first-hand details. I have never heard of needing to start a perfectly good vehicle on a regular basis to keep the computer happy.
