Truth. Go to google and type site:board.moparts.org 'whateveryouwanttosearch' and it will give you the results.

Until you put stickier tires on it, raising the stall will bring it closer to your peak torque, which in theory will make it easier to spin. Obviously this all varies based on chassis, motor, etc etc etc... But it's a reasonable generalization. Once it hooks though, it makes a substantial difference in the first 60 feet.


11.48 @ 120 with a 1.80 60' 318, stock 1.88 heads, stock 904, Pump Gas, 13 lbs of boost.

9.94 @ 134, 318 on pump gas, 14 lbs w/ Eddies, transbrake 727, 3600 lbs, 3.54 gear and 28's.
