I will probably have RayJe Carbs in QLD do me a Dominator.
My engine won't be standard Nascar spec though.
If I had a Nascar spec engine I would try a 1050, not sure you would get the booster signal from an out of the box 1150. Depending on the camshaft, most make peak torque around 6500-6800 rpm and peak power at 8400+rpm. A 1000cfm 4150 Holley would be another option for you.
As has been already stated, the 830 Holley is used due to rules, they would run larger if they could.

40ford has alot of experience with these engines and currently runs one in a FED with mechanical fuel injection and zoomie headers. Great looking car to boot also!
