I added more weight in adding the bars than what I took out. But it made all sorts of room for my turbo setup. Hindsight I would only remove what was needed for clearance or work around them.

Look at other ways to do it and make the car as "aero" as possible. My 73 Dart Sport grill was open all the way across. I blocked off a good portion of that and only left the immediate radiator area open. Also redid the stock bumper brackets out of aluminum and switched to a fiberglass bumper and moved it in and as close to the body as possible.


Good ideas guys............I already have light ft. brackets and a glass bumper,gutted doors windows etc. Guess I`ll keep lookin. Thankxxx guys.
