Thanks, it sounds like a that calculator is a little more conservative than the one on the tech archives.

A sure grip is definitely in my future, but I intend the car more for a cruiser than drag racing, so the tires will most likely stay as the weak link.

My nature is to be skeptical about engine builders dyno results, so doing a sanity check was my main purpose (other than fun) for the trip to the dragstrip.
