Don't know how old your Crane rockers are..
But double check their tips that contact the valve stems for wear after installing..

Before Crane went bankrupt they produced several lots of defective rockers that were not hardened properly..
I complained to Crane back then but they gave me the sunshine treatment..

The Cranes went in the dumpster, we installed Harland Sharp, never looked back..



There's nothing wrong with the rockers, it was the adjusters and this was like 10 or more years ago. I hope you didn't throw away the rockers.



A little clarification for the record at least in my case..
It was about 5 years back, problem was the rocker tips, not hardened properly not the adjusters..
Also Crane sold these through Mopar Performance as well..
I confronted one of their engineers @ SEMA and he finally acknowledged the issue..
