smooth to the touch and when washing the rag does not stick and drag ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif)
I tried flat black before and it was ruff texture and you could not wipe a rag across it,it also would stain very ez
so far the satin is doing ok on mine, cleans up with a wash/dry
here is the whole truck,2 stage yellow with 5 coats of clear all the black is gloss rustoleum and the hood cowl/letters are satin black, stripe is a stick on from Challengergary which matches the satin very close
Looks great, like the color combo.
thanks, not bad for the first time back yard in the dirt paint job,IMHO
I should also say the satin and gloss do not have the clear coat on them either.
I am going to spray the stepside hood over again(flat Black on it) and use the SEM trim black ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/primer.gif)
i know result vary but if its better than the satin i will change the 440 trucks hood and cowl, but have to save the art work on the hood scoop ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/1343795-scratchchin.gif)
