Lame. His concepts turn racing into some kind of "reality theatre", where the purity of the real thing is tweaked into a game show.
Come to think of it, calling the stuff on TV "reality" shows is a perversion of the term; they're largely if not entirely fabricated, and therefore meaningless. They do make money, though, which is all the networks care about.
I think it was H.L.Mencken who said one cannot underestimate the taste of the average person, or words to that effect...
