440 deck isn't .5" or 1" more. it's .765" and it is in the water jacket area so it's not an extra 3/4" of solid iron. Don't forget the 440 larger main bores and counterweight reliefs that reduce the weight. Larger 440 bore is a moot point since the water jacket is about the same.
My guess is 33 lbs total- block 20 lb rods 2 lb 8 pistons 1 lb intake 5 lb
I forgot the pad on the 440 by the dist, that must be 2 lb, so 35 lb total.
